1. External Nutritional Consultation: Consists of the child’s nutritional evaluation. Depending on this evaluation, the child is admitted to the inpatient program in the Sweet Home (see 2) or, alternatively, he/she is referred to our outpatient program (see 3).

2. Inpatient (Nursery) program: For a period of 35 days, children with severe malnutrition live at the Sweet Home, undergoing a nutritional recovery process. The program covers 100% of the children’s nutritional needs.

3. Outpatient Nutritional Recovery (ONR): Children are referred to this program in cases of mild malnutrition. The children are monitored weekly.

During weekly visits the mother receives a basic nutritional supplement for her family. This supplement contains 5-6 products from the “Family Basket”, a set of food and hygiene staples.
